THE PUERTO RICAN BAR ASSOCIATION HAS JOINED
NYC COUNCILMAN FERNANDO CABRERA

NYC COUNCILWOMAN MELISSA MARK-VIVERITO
COUNCILMAN FERNANDO CABRERA
WORKING TO COLLECT SUPPLIES AND DONATIONS, DISPATCH VOLUNTEERS AND
PROVIDE AID TO STROM VICTIMS CITY-WIDE.
ITEMS TO BE DONATED INCLUDE: non-perishable food for adult and babies, blankets, generators, water pumps, non-prescription medication, batteries and pampers. The Bronx Armory is open 24 hours a day to receive donations for the next two weeks.

Councilman Cabrera states:
"Our city is hurting and now is the time for all New Yorkers to come together and do what they can to help our brothers and sisters in need. In the Bronx, we are utilizing the Armory to stock-pile and distribute much needed supplies and donations. Today we are receiving 14 trucks of supplies and will be receiving donations of non-perishable food, bottled water, blankets, batteries and clothing for the next two weeks. If you wish to volunteer please call 718-473-6993."
COUNCILWOMAN MARK-VIVERITO
Beginning today, the Councilwoman's office is collecting blankets and coats to deliver to people in need. If you can donate, please stop the District Office at 105 E. 116th Street, New York, New York
Councilwoman Mark-Viverito states:
"This is a crisis situation requiring sustained efforts from all of us to support our fellow New Yorkers. I hope you'll consider dropping off blankets and coats at my office, making a donation to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York, or continuing to give your time at volunteer sites throughout the city."

'As one of the most historic and devastating storms to ever hit the Northeast region, Hurricane Sandy has impacted each and every one of us. Despite the incredible destruction we have encountered, New Yorkers are resilient...'
