The Puerto Rican Bar Association celebrates Sonia Sotomayor

On Thursday, October 22, 2009, the Board, members and friends of the Puerto Rican Bar Association were treated with a celebration for one of the PRBA's most recognizable members, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States Sonia Sotomayor.
The event was held at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, with the Hon. Jay Hershenson, Senior Vice Chancellor for University Relations and Secretary of the Board of Trustees for the University addressing the membership as our host. Justice Sotomayor was excited to see many friends among the crowd and enjoyed the opportunity to chat individually with many that were present.
On behalf of all its members and of the friends of the PRBA, the Board thanks Justice Sotomayor and our hosts for making this such a memorable evening.
